At the suggestion of Patrick Bussian I am happy to join this forum, because I collect Bing, Kibri, Cabo as well as Hornby and many USA makers. I am particularly interested to find more information on Cabo. I have 3 Cabo stations and will likely purchase more. I have a pretty large Kibri collection including the big stations 52-3 and 52-15.
Welcome, Lew! I am Claudia, still the only female on this forum... 😄😄😄 Unfortunately, I do not share your special interests collecting trains. However, it is always interesting to look at other's collections and learn more about our hobby.
welcome to a great Forum of trains, let´s try if your translation works...
Thanks for the link to your beautiful Cabo station. I'm fascinated to see that Cabo made at least 3 variations of its large station. Mine has the balcony, but the others do not. I agree that Cabo is certainly Bauhaus influenced. It is virtually unknown in the USA.

me too, of course...

is it CaBo or Bauhaus...?
Hello Lew,
ich hoffe du zeigst uns einige schöne Sachen in unserem Forum, was du in deiner Website zeigst ist wunderbar, auch kannst du Fragen was dich interessiert...
Bauhaus is a style. Even more - a philosophy of life style! Form follows function was their credo. CaBo was a manufacturer of tin toys. Carl Bochmann from Dresden.
The coarse style of the Bochmann toys is always misinterpreted as Bauhaus. This is absolutely wrong! You will find out about if you dig a bit into the Bauhaus philosophy. Have fun!
